The Home page is the first page you see when logging into MINDA. From here you can navigate to other parts of MINDA to record events, view reports etc. There are 3 main areas:
Services
Query Centre
Recent Activity
In Services you'll find the tiles you can view or work in such as recording events, creating groups, running reports etc. Query Centre shows you any outstanding queries you need to action. Recent Activity is a log of what has been recorded in your herd.
Animal Search
The Animal Search is accessible throughout MINDA and allows you to search for any animal in your herd, both current and historic. When you click on an animal, you'll see a summary that includes:
Animal number
Official ID
EID
Sex
Date of birth
Breed
Start date
BW, PW, LW
Reproductive status
NAIT location
At the bottom of the summary, there is a link to view the Animal Property Sheet.
Note: To include historic animals in your search, make sure to select the Include historic option.
Herd Selector
If you have access to multiple herds in MINDA, you can switch between them using the Herd Selector. Click the drop down and select the herd you want to work in.
Herd Code
Your herd code will be displayed by the heard you have selected. Click the herd code to copy it.
Account & password
Your account settings such as username, email & password can all be managed from within Settings. To access your account settings,
Click your name on the top right.
Select Account & password.
From here, you can update your username, email and password.
Notifications
MINDA sends you notifications when there is something that requires your attention such as incoming animals (stock truck), frozen herd test results, shared reports etc. Click the bell icon to view or dismiss notifications.

Settings
The Settings area is where you view and manage the following MINDA settings:
DIY mating bulls
Herds & farms
Note: The DIY mating bulls setting allows you to save bulls in MINDA so they can be used when recording matings via quick events in Protrack.
Sign Out
When you’re done working in MINDA, click your name on the top right then select Sign out.
