Learn how record observed natural mating's in MINDA

Using MINDA, you can record observed natural mating's for your animals. When recording observed natural mating's in MINDA, you'll need to know:

  • Date you observed the natural mating

  • Animal ID

  • Bull details


How do I record an Observed Natural Mating Event?

Select Event Recorder from the dashboard and then select Observed Natural Mating from the list of available Events. Next go through the steps on screen.

Step 1. Select date

Select the date the natural mating was observed. If the date was earlier, click Earlier then use the calendar to select the right date.

Step 2. Choose your animal

Select the animal you're recording an observed natural mating for. If you know the animal's ID, type it into the search bar otherwise scroll through the list.

Step 3. Select the bull

Choose the bull.

  • If the bull is in your herd, click Bull in this herd and then select its ID.

  • If the bull is not in your herd, click Bull not in this herd and enter its ID.

Step 4. Review and finish

Review the details you've entered. If you need to edit anything, click Change or use the Back button otherwise click Finish.
