Setting up and managing the MINDA and Farm Source integration

Learn how to connect MINDA with Farm Source and manage the integration for Farm Dairy Records and the Dairy Diary app

Written by Jessie

Setting up the integration

Step 1. Open the Partners page

Go to Settings, then select Partners.

Step. 2 Connect to Farm Source

Select Connect on Farm Source.

A message will appear letting you know you'll be redirected to the Farm Source website to finish setting up the integration.

Important: To connect to Farm Source, you must be the MINDA account owner or have Delegated Authority in MINDA.

Step 3. Complete setup in Farm Source

Log in to your Farm Source account to complete the setup.

Important: To ensure MINDA information flows into Farm Source, check your settings are correct in Farm Source. For help, see Fonterra's how-to video.

Notes:

  • If you have more than one Supply Number relevant to your MINDA herd, you can select multiple Supply Numbers in the dropdown. As there is no way to specify animal groups, you'll need to check over your FDR and update the animal tallies.

  • If you have more than one MINDA participant code relevant to your Fonterra Supply Number, make sure you select the Supply Number for each PTPT code. The animal information from each herd will be combined for the Farm Dairy Records.

Once connected, MINDA information will flow into the Farm Dairy Records (FDR) and Dairy Diary app within 24 hours.

Disconnecting the integration

Step 1. Open the Partners page

Go to the Partners page and find Farm Source. Select the three dots menu, then select Disconnect.

Step 2: Confirm disconnection

Select Disconnect to confirm.

Once disconnected, you'll return to the Partners page and Farm Source will show as not connected.
