In MINDA, you're able to invite your farming team with varying levels of permissions meaning that you can customise each persons access. Only the herd owner or someone with Delegated Authority can provide access to others.
Types of Permissions in MINDA
Below is an example of the different levels of access which can be granted to others on farm. Each of these provide different access to different parts of MINDA.
Herd Permissions
Delegated Authority
Delegated Authority provides the user with similar access as the herd owner i.e. granting/revoking permissions and managing NAIT locations. More than 1 person can be given Delegated Authority but this can only be granted by the herd owner i.e. someone with Delegated Authority cannot grant others Delegated Authority.
Customer Experience Centre Permissions
Customer Experience Centre: Update Animal Records
Allows the user to contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre to make updates to animal records and resolve any queries for the herd.
Customer Experience Centre: Animal Information Request
Allows the user to contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre to get information on animals.
Customer Experience Centre: Order Tags
Allows the user to contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre to order tags
Customer Experience Centre: Order Chargeable Reports
Allows the user to contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre and order chargeable reports.
View Herd Details
Provides permissions for the user to to view/access Herd Management tile including:
Groups
Reports (including saved reports)
MINDA Milk
Important: In order to record/edit events and view the Calving Schedule in the MINDA App, these permissions need to be granted to the user.
Event Permissions
Events: Record animal events
Allows the user to record animal events.
Important: In order to record and view events in the Holding pen and view the Calving Schedule, View Herd Details permissions must be granted to the user.
Events: View animal events
Allows the user to only view events.
Important: The user also needs permission to View Herd Details.
Events: Edit animal events
Allows the user to edit and approve events in the Holding Pen.
Important: The user also needs permission to View Herd Details & View Animal Events.
MINDA Milk: Download Shareholder Services Reports and view herd
Allows the user to link to Shareholder Services from within the Milk tab.
Note: You'll need to enter your PTPT code and PIN to log into Shareholder Services.
MINDA Health: View Health Information
Allows the user to only view:
Health tab
Health Plans/treatments
Withholding periods
MINDA Health: Modify Health Information
Allows the user to view and edit health information.
MINDA Weights: View Weights Information
Allows the user to only view the Weights tab.
MINDA Reproduction: View Reproduction data
Allows the user to only view the Reproduction tab.
Protrack Permissions
Protrack: Access Herd, Information and Settings & Field trial access
Allows the user to view and change information in the Protrack tab.
Land & Feed Permissions
When granting permissions, Land & Feed does not show under the PTPT code instead, it is split out into the different farms you have access to. This means that you'll need to look out for the farm name when providing others access.
View Farm & Paddocks
Allows the user to only view the farm map.
Edit Farm & Paddocks
Allows the user to edit the farm map.
Record and edit paddock events
Allows the user to record and edit Land & Feed events.
Important: The user must also have permissions to View Farm & Paddocks.
