Animal health treatments recorded in MINDA now flow through to Fonterra’s Dairy Diary app, saving you time and removing the need to enter the same treatment information twice. To enable this, MINDA needs to be connected to Farm Source.
What treatment information is shared?
If enabled, the integration sends the following treatment information to Fonterra's Dairy Diary app:
Health Record date
Tag number
Diagnosis
Treatment
Dosage
Quarters
Withholding periods
Return to vat date
Vet details (if recorded)
How do I connect MINDA and Farm Source?
For step-by-step instructions, see our article Setting up MINDA & Farm Source.
Important: You will need to enable Share animal treatments with Fonterra in Farm Source directly and enable the LIC Import Settings in the Dairy Diary app. For more information, check out Fonterra's how to video.
How long will it take for my treatments to show in Dairy Diary app?
Animal health treatments recorded in MINDA will appear in the Dairy Dairy app within 24 hours. To ensure data flows through correctly, make sure you:
Approve Health events in the Holding Pen
Ensure doses have been given
Check that Open Treatment Plans have been completed
Note: If your MINDA treatments aren’t appearing correctly in the Dairy Diary app, contact the Fonterra Service Centre on 0800 65 65 68.
How do I check if my treatments have been sent to the Dairy Diary app?
Treatments sent to the Dairy Diary app will display a MINDA symbol next to the record. When you select a record, you'll see a note at the top confirming it was imported from MINDA.
Can I edit MINDA treatments in the Dairy Diary app?
No - treatments shared from MINDA are read-only in the Dairy Diary app. If you need to make changes to open Treatment Plans, update the details in MINDA. The updated information will appear in the Dairy Diary app within 24 hours.
Note: This is a one-way integration. Treatments recorded in the Dairy Diary app do not flow back to MINDA.
Who can see my treatment information?
Animal treatment information is shared with QCONZ to support your Farm Dairy Assessor before your Farm Dairy Assessment. This helps verify that all treatments have been recorded in line with NZCP1 requirements set by MPI.
