Using the MINDA app, you can record when an animal has received health treatments. When recording a Health treatment, you'll need to know:
Animal ID
Quarters (if applicable)
Diagnosis
Treatment/dosage rate/withholding information etc
Administered by (if applicable)
How do I record a Health Event?
Select Health from the dashboard and then select Create health record. Next go through the steps on screen.
Step 1. Choose your animal(s)
Add the animals you're recording a Health Record for. If the animals are in a specific Group, you can tap Add from group otherwise, you can search for the animal if you know their ID.
Tip: If you have a wand connected to your MINDA app, you can scan the animals EID to add it.
Note: When recording a Health Record, you have the option to select quarters. If you enable Quarters, you'll need to select the affected quarters when adding each animal.
Step 2. Select the diagnosis
Choose a diagnosis. Any common treatments will show at the top otherwise scroll through the list or use the search bar.
Step 3. Select the treatment given
Choose the treatment. Any recently used products will show at the top otherwise scroll through the list or use the search bar.
Step 4. Add dosage information
Here you'll need to add details about the dosage such as:
Amount per dose
Number of doses
Unit i.e. tube, ml, gram etc
Frequency
Interval
Withholding
Step 5. Treatment given by
If you'd like to add details on who administered the treatment, you can do this below otherwise tap Skip.
Step 6. Review and finish
Review the details you've entered. There's a few extra things you can do on this screen including:
Delete the Health Event
Add another treatment
Save common treatment
Similar to other Events, if you need to edit anything, tap on any of the columns or go back by tapping on the top left otherwise tap Finish.
The Event should now show in the Holding Pen where you can approve it.
