Using the MINDA app, you can record heats for your animals. When recording heats you'll need to know:
Date the animal was on heat
Animal ID
How do I record a Heat Event?
Select Heat from the home screen and then select Record heat. Next go through the steps on screen.
Step 1. Choose your animal(s)
Add the animals that are on heat.
Tip: If you have a wand connected to your MINDA app, you can scan the animals EID to add them.
If you have cow wearable devices on farm and have enabled the setting Heats from wearables, you'll see the option to Add from wearables (#). This will automatically select all animals that have been picked up as having a heat via your animal wearables device.
Step 2. Review and finish
Review the details you've entered. If you need to edit anything, tap on any of the columns or go back by tapping on the top left otherwise tap Finish or Delete this heat to delete the Event.
The Event should now show in the Holding Pen where you can approve it.
