How do I connect MINDA and my cow wearable system?
You'll need to connect your MINDA account from within your cow wearable system using your MINDA credentials. Your wearable provider will have a similar sign in page as the one shown below and all you need to do is select your PTPT code and agree to the T&C's.
Once your MINDA and cow wearable system is connected, animal information will start flowing both ways and you can begin receiving heat notifications in the MINDA App.
Important: When setting up the integration, you need to log in using the main herd owner MINDA account.
MINDA App Heat notifications
Once you've connected MINDA and your cow wearable system, you can receive heat notifications within the MINDA App. To turn on these notifications, you'll need to:
Head into Settings > Configure notification settings > Heats from wearables
Turn on Show notifications & Show badges
Once this notification has been turned on, you'll start receiving notifications showing which animals are on heat.
Note: Make sure you've connected your MINDA and cow wearable system before turning on the Heats from wearables notification.
Recording Heat Events in the MINDA App
Once you've turned on heat notifications, you can record Heat Events using wearable alerts. Head into Heat > Record Heat and click Add from wearables to automatically add any animals that have a heat alert. Once you're happy with the list of animals, complete the Event and approve it in the Holding Pen.
