Using the MINDA app, you can record Body Condition Scores (BCS) for your animals. When recording Body Condition Scores in MINDA, you'll need to know:
Date the animal(s) were condition scored
Animal ID
Condition Score
How do I record an Body Condition Score Event?
Select Body condition score from the home screen and then select Record BSC. Next go through the steps on screen.
Step 1. Select date
Select the date the animal was condition scored.
Step 2. Choose your animal
Add the animal that you're recording a Body Condition Scores for.
Tip: If you have a wand connected to your MINDA app, you can scan the animals EID to add it.
Step 3. Select the Body Condition Score
Select the animals BCS.
Continue steps 2 -3 until you have recorded all of your new BCS's.
Step 4. Review and finish
Review the details you've entered. There's a few extra things you can do on this screen including:
Delete the BCS session
Add another BSC
Similar to other Events, if you need to edit anything, tap on any of the columns or go back by tapping on the top left otherwise tap Finish.
The Event should now show in the Holding Pen where you can approve it.
