Using the MINDA app, you can record pregnancy diagnosis results for your animals. When recording pregnancy diagnoses in MINDA, you'll need to know:
Date the animal(s) were scanned
Animal ID
Pregnancy diagnosis results
How do I record a Pregnancy Diagnosis Event?
Select Pregnancy diagnosis from the home screen and then select Record Pregnancy diagnosis. Next go through the steps on screen.
Step 1. Select date
Select the date the animal was scanned. You can also enter the Assessors code.
Step 2. Choose your animal
Add the animal that you're recording a Pregnancy Diagnosis Event for.
Tip: If you have a wand connected to your MINDA app, you can scan the animals EID to add it.
Step 3. Select the Pregnancy Diagnosis
You have the option to either record an aged or non-aged PD. When recording an Aged Pregnancy, you'll need to enter in a few more details such as days or weeks since conception OR select a previous mating. When recording a non-aged PD, just tap on either Pregnant, Empty or Doubtful at the bottom of the screen.
Continue steps 2 and 3 until you have recorded all of your PD's.
Note: If you've enabled the setting Record number of calves, you'll have the option to also enter the number of calves (foetal count).
Step 3. Review and finish
Review the details you've entered. There's a few extra things you can do on this screen including:
Delete the PD session
Add another PD
Similar to other Events, if you need to edit anything, tap on any of the columns or go back by tapping on the top left otherwise tap Finish.
The Event should now show in the Holding Pen where you can approve it.
