Using MINDA, you can record pregnancy diagnosis results for your animals. When recording pregnancy diagnoses in MINDA, you'll need to know:
Date the animal(s) were scanned
Animal ID
Pregnancy diagnosis results
How do I record a Pregnancy Diagnosis Event?
Select Event Recorder from the dashboard and then select Pregnancy Diagnosis from the list of available Events. Next go through the steps on screen.
Step 1. Select date
Select the date the animal was scanned. If the date was earlier, click Earlier then use the calendar to select the right date.
Step 2. Choose your animal(s)
Select the animals you're recording a Pregnancy Diagnosis Event for. If the animals are in a specific Group, you can change the Group to show only those animals otherwise, you can search for the animal if you know their ID.
Once you've selected the animals, they'll be moved to the right hand side as shown above. If you need to remove any animals, use the x.
Note: If recording Aged Pregnancies, you will need to select animals individually. However, if you are recording Non-Aged, Empty or Doubtful results, you can select multiple animals.
Step 3. Select the Pregnancy Diagnosis
Select the PD result.
Aged Pregnancy
When recording an Aged Pregnancy, you'll need to enter in a few more details such as days or weeks since conception OR select a previous mating.
Step 4. Review and finish
Review the details you've entered. If you need to edit anything, click Change or use the Back button otherwise click Finish or Add another PD.
The Event should now show in the Holding Pen where you can approve it.
