When using the MINDA app, you can customise your settings & preferences such as notifications, background sync, times you would like to receive notifications etc. These can be managed by heading into the menu and tapping on the settings icon. The settings are split into the following 5 categories:

Notifications
Calving
There are 3 settings you can enable or disable for calving. They are:
Use temporary tag colours
Auto-fill next calf ID
Record all calving assistance
Use temporary tag colours
If enabled, you'll have the option to also select a colour when recording a temp tag.
Auto-fill next calf ID
If enabled, the Calf ID screen will automatically pre-populate the next available calf ID. For example, if the last reared calf you recorded was ABCD-24-1, the calf ID of the next reared calf will pre-populate with ABCD-24-2.
Record all calving assistance
If enabled, you will need to record a calving assistance for each of the following fates:
Reared
Bobbied
Died
Sold
You will also need to record a calving assistance when using temp tags or choosing not to record calf details.
Mating
Record bull for natural matings
If enabled, you'll always have the option to first select a bull when recording a natural mating.
Pregnancy diagnosis
Record number of calves
If enabled, you'll have the option to record the number of calves (foetal count) when recording a Pregnancy Diagnosis.
General
Background sync
If enabled, the MINDA app will automatically sync every 8 hours.
Important: The MINDA app must be open in the background i.e. app has not been closed out.
Auto-fill birth ID prefix
If enabled, your PTPT code will always be pre-populated in any areas of the app which require you to search for a birth ID i.e. Lookup, recording an Event etc.
Notifications
There are 3 settings that you can enable or disable for notifications. They are:
Scheduled outages/AE runs
Treatment doses due
Heats from wearables
Scheduled outages/AE runs
If enabled, you'll receive notifications of any upcoming AE runs or scheduled MINDA outages.
Treatment doses due
If enabled, you'll receive notifications for any doses that are due. You can also select what time you'd prefer to receive notifications, for which herd (if you have access to multiple) and if you'd like a badge shown in the app (an indicator on the Health tile.)
Heats from wearables
If enabled, you'll receive notifications for any heats detected by your cow wearable devices i.e. collars, tags etc.
You can also select which herd you'd like to receive heat notifications for (if you have access to multiple) and if you'd like a badge shown in the app (an indicator on the Heat tile.
Important: To receive heat notifications, you need to make sure you've connected your MINDA account with your wearable provider.
