So you've created your reports in MINDA, now what? As well as creating and viewing reports in MINDA, you can also save, export, share etc. Some reports will have more options than others such as highlighting, adding animals to PYO Groups but generally you can:

  • Add Attributes

  • Save

  • Print as PDF

  • Export as CSV

  • Share

  • Create a new PYO Group

  • Add animals to a PYO Group

  • Remove animals from a PYO Group

  • Highlight

Attributes

With some reports, you're able to add or remove Attributes so you can truly customise your reports. To the left of your report, you'll see a list of available Attributes that you can add or remove from your report. To learn more about adding Attributes, check out our Attributes article.

Note: If you're running a report on a Group which includes historic animals, you can use the historically aware Attributes (Attributes with a cross) to see historic animal information.

Saving, Exporting & Sharing

Saving reports

Saving a report in MINDA will add it to the My Reports tab where you can view & update them at any time. To save a report, click Save As > Save to My Reports then give your report a name.

When you need to come back to your report, just head into the My Reports tab and select your report. To learn more, read our Saved Reports article.

Exporting reports

MINDA reports can be exported as either PDF or CSV. Click Print/Export and then select Print as PDF or Export as CSV. From here you can print your reports or work on them further.

Sharing reports

If you'd like to share your report i.e. with your farming team, stock agent etc, you can use the share option. This will email a copy of the report to the email addresses you've added and you also have the option to CC yourself on the email and write a note.

Note: Sharing a report won't add the recipient your MINDA herd. It will only send a copy of the report via an email.

Manage PYO Groups

Using some reports, you're able to add or remove animals from PYO Groups or create new PYO Groups using the animals in your report. In your report, select the Save As option and choose what you'd like to do. If creating a new Group, you'll need to name the Group before saving. If adding/removing animals, search for the Group and then click Save.

Highlighting

When running reports in MINDA, you can print, share and export these reports with others in your farming team. If you're needing to draw attention to certain animals in your reports i.e. the top 5 animals you'd like to sell or something similar, you can use the highlight tool.

How do I use the Highlight tool?

Above the Available Attributes section, the Highlighting tool lets you highlight animals in your report using any of the below 5 colours. Click on a colour then select the animals you'd like to highlight.

Naming highlight colours

To make it easier for your farming team to understand the different colours you've used in your reports, you can name them within the Highlighting tool. Select Save names as shown below and then add your names above. The names will then show as a legend in at the bottom of your report.

What happens to my highlighting when I export a report?

When sharing or exporting your report, any highlighting that you've added will be retained. The only time highlighting isn't exported is when a report is exported to CSV.

Can I highlight multiple animals?

Yes! Using the Shift button on your keyboard, you can select multiple animals at once. When you're ready to highlight multiple animals, you'll need to:

  1. Highlight the first animal

  2. Hold down the Shift key (on your keyboard)

  3. Select the last animal

This should highlight all the animals between the first and last animal you selected.
