What is the Query Centre?
The Query Centre is similar to the Holding Pen but instead of showing errored MINDA events, the Query Centre shows errors for any information added from external sources i.e. Herd Tests, AB Tech Matings etc.
When it comes to keeping your MINDA account in good health, we recommend that you check and resolve any queries as they come through ✅
Checking Queries
To check for queries, head into the Query Centre.
Here you'll see any outstanding queries you have along with a description and the number of animals affected.
Managing Queries
In addition to a description, each query type should include a recommendation on how to resolve the query.
In the example above, cow 254 has been entered twice via EZLink resulting in a 10,000 query. In order to resolve this, you'll need to check who this test belongs to and contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre to update your Herd Test results.
Tip: You can use the print option on the top right to print out queries. Just make sure the queries are expanded on the page.
Common Queries
Example A
There is a Herd Test result query for animal #5 stating “Animal has a Dry Off Date”.
Resolution: Add a Calving to animal #5 to show she was in milk before having a Herd Test.
Example B
There is a Mating query for animal #10 stating “Animal has another mating on this date”.
Resolution: Contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre and advise which mating is incorrect and should be removed.
Example C
There are queries which state “Animal is Frozen”. This means a previous query is blocking any further event information being added - you must resolve this original issue first.
In some cases queries can be resolved within MINDA but for more complex queries, you may need to contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre on 📞 0800 264 632.
