Managing herds & farms

How to view and manage the herds and farms you have access to

Written by Neissa

Within Settings, you can view the herds and farms you own, as well as those you’ve been given access to. You can also see your level of access and remove yourself from any herds you no longer need.

To view the herds you have access to, click Settings, then select Herds & farms.

Viewing your Herds & Farms

On the Herds & Farms page, you can view all herds and farms linked to your account, including those you own and those you’ve been given access to. From this page, you can:

  1. Search for herds or farms you already have access to

  2. Enter an access code to accept permissions

  3. Add another herd to your existing MINDA account

  4. Remove a herd or farm you no longer need access to

Adding a new herd

Step 1: Click Add Herd.

Step 2: Enter the Participant code and Herd pin for the herd to be added and click Add herd.

Important: Only the herd owner can add a new herd. Do not share your herd pin. If you wish to give someone else access to your herd information (i.e. Farm Manager), refer to this article Granting access in MINDA.

You should now be able to see the new herd under Herds & farms. It will also appear in the dropdown box along with your other herds on the MINDA Homepage, allowing you to switch easily between herds.

Note: If the new herd doesn't appear straight away, try logging and back in.

Removing a herd or farm

Click the trash can icon next to the herd or farm you want to remove, then click Remove. A notification will appear confirming the person has been removed.
