In MINDA there's a couple of ways you can report on calf fates. You could either create a Custom Report and use the highlighting feature or create a Group and filter using the Calf Fate Attribute.

Custom Report

Step 1. Create a custom report

Within the Reports tab, click Create a Custom report.

Step 2. Select a Group

Select the Group the Custom Report will be run on.

Step. 3 Add Attributes

Add the Calf Fate Attribute and any other Attribute you want to include on your report.

Step 4. Add Highlighting

If you need to show the total number of animals for each fate:

  1. Sort the Calf Fate Attribute so the fates are in alphabetical order.

  2. Name your highlights so they reflect the different fates.

  3. Select your highlight colour then select the corresponding fates.

Tip: To highlight multiple animals at once, highlight the first animal. Next scroll down to the last animal, hold down the Shift key and highlight the last animal. This will highlight all the animals in between.

Once you've highlighted all of your animals, scroll down to see the totals for each fate. To stop highlighting, deselect the highlight colour on the top left.

Step 5. Save or print your report

To save the report, click Save As and then select the Save to My Reports option.

To print the report, click Print/Export and then select the Print as PDF option.

Note: If there are any animals you'd like to exclude from the PDF report, deselect them so they have no blue tick.

Groups

Step 1. Create a Group

Following the steps here, create a Rules based Group and make sure to select the Calf Fate Attribute and the season it relates to.

Step 2. Filter by calf fates

If your Attribute isn't already added as a filter, make sure to do that and select the fates you want to see.

Step 3. Save or export

Depending on what you need, you can either save the Group or export it to CSV.
